Choose from a variety of tours according to your preference and fitness level. Would you prefer something a little challenging? Then perhaps "Best of Tegernsee" will suit you. On this 11 km hike you will enjoy nature, the Mangfall mountains and lake Tegernsee. And a hearty Bavarian lunch is not to be missed. You will gain 470 meters on this tour.

You prefer it a bit more relaxed? How about the “Alpine Village Explorer" – a varied hike on small paths with magnificent views of the typical Bavarian Alps, a visit of a cute alpine Village and a stop for refreshments with a view. On this easy hike, you'll cover 4 km and 230 meters in altitude.

Either way: After you’ve booked, your guide will contact you to personally clarify the most important points of the day tour.

Meeting point: Munich central station between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, depending on the tour; you can also drive to our starting point yourself. Tours with a driver can be organized on request.

Participants: private group for a maximum of up to nine people; larger groups on request.

What to bring:

  • Sturdy walking shoes with profile / grip
  • Warm clothes (several layers) – the weather can change quickly in or near the mountains
  • Sunglasses
  • Water (1.5 to 2 litres)
  • ID for the train
  • Cash for lunch

Please note: Due to the often unpredictable and sometimes even dangerous weather conditions in the mountains, the tour destination may have to be changed at short notice. Please check your mails after 7 pm on the evening before the tour. If nobody has contacted you, everything remains as planned. If not, we will have sent you all information regarding the new schedule. And don't worry – you will enjoy the alternative tour just as much!

For the easy to medium-level hikes you should have a good level of fitness and no health concerns (especially concerning the cardiovascular system). We are happy to clarify your personal situation with you!
